Your photos are magnificent. I appreciated the quotation, too. I’ve saved it for those times when the awful disease known as “autumn envy” strikes me. Even though the Gulf coast (and much of Texas) lacks these beautiful sweeps of color, we often can search out at least one little tree.
I totally can understand that. The fall colors, even if it is only one tree, are astounding and always are so serene. Thanks for commenting and stopping by!
By the way — I was up at 4 a.m. to photograph snow here on the Texas coast.! Sometimes, you just have to laugh! At my place, we got an inch, but Houston proper and outlying areas got 2-3″.
Thats fantastic!
Nature’s Beauty doesn’t get any better, thanks for posting your wonderful images.
Even at Christmas time, I can truly say
Autumn is my favorite time of year
(your photographs capture the splendor.)
The tree tops are as bright, as if burning. Proof of God’s artistic ability.
Indeed! Thanks much for stopping by!

Wonderful photos.
Joyce Carol Oates said there was nothing lovelier than a tree. We can add … when it’s leaves are changing colour. Nice photos.
What stunning photos of the vibrancy of Autumn! The reflections on the water are so beautiful.
